Going into withdrawal

Got a new boss, and the previous two year's work isn't buying me any slack. So it's prove it, prove it, prove it time and between working all the time, and stressing about work the rest of the time, I've not had a minute to pick up the sticks. Ironically, knitting is stress-reducing, but I just can't find the time.Did I mention it is at this juncture that my darling son has gathered a complete set of grades - an A, a B, a C, a D and an F? If he weren't such a cutie, I'd be seriously considering returning him to the baby store.
On top of that, my mom just had foot surgery and I feel like I need to be there every spare minute, but I don't have any. Add in a soccer game, two practices, cheerleading clinic and soccer tournament, and I'm a stretched paper-thin.
The tank is coming along - I only have to add the i-cord straps (four) and it's done. But now that it's finally winter here is CA (on this beautiful sunny 75 degree day), all the sweaters staring at me from store windows and catalog pages are beguiling me. Whatever my next sweater is, I'm doing it in chunky yarn - I need the instant gratification.
